Recapping the Weekend

Our 4th of July weekend started on Friday, as Mike had the day off. Jaques had his 9 month pediatrician appointment at a new office. He is growing like a weed; currently weighing in at 21lbs, 7 oz, (66 percentile), 28.5 inches long (61%). We are pleased with our pick of pediatrician. She seems very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions.

We enjoyed Maci and Ella's Birthday party on Friday night and then it was off to The Porlier's for the weekend as Uncle Jack, Justin and Stefanie were in town. We enjoyed a good time of swimming, fireworks, and lots of food!!! Jaques loved the fireworks and he is a water baby indeed!

Earlier in the week, Jaques learned to drink from a straw for the first time. We figured that this would be a good thing for him to learn in the case that we are without a sippy cup. Jaques did very well, but Mommy got really wet from the water....
